Cyber Attack update

Investigation work has been ongoing into the impact of the council's education network as a result of the criminal attack.

Anytime Anywhere Learning

(AAL)

AAL

At St Nicholas, we are an AAL school. This means we encourage learning throughout the building, at all times, not just in the classrooms.

We have a secure WiFi network available throughout the school building, to help us achieve this.

This network requires login details before it can be used, which identifies the user as a teacher or pupil, and ensures there are safety firewall's in place, to ensure the internet is safe and secure for all users.

Our AAL network has helped us develop learning beyond the classroom, and has been essential to our development of BYOD.

If you have any queries regarding our use of WiFi, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
